2018 Waterford Rose and Rose of Tralee winner Kirsten Mate Maher

Waterford's winning Rose of Tralee Kirsten Mate Maher is set to appear on the sofa for this week’s Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ One on Saturday evening.

Kirsten will tell Ray about her eventful year so far and her recent online run-in with US rapper Azealia Banks who described Irish women as 'ugly' in an online rant, taking particular aim at the 2018 Waterford Rose.

Also on the show, and in his first interview since becoming father, former Kerry GAA captain Paul Galvin talks to Ray about his love of tattoos, his new clothing collection and one of his heroes, Luke Kelly.

Celebrating 35 years as Ian Beale on Albert Square, EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt joins Ray on the show.

And one of Ireland's best-known chefs, Clodagh McKenna will be chatting about her new book, her new TV series and her new love - the Honourable Harry Herbert whose family own the real-life Downton Abbey.

The Ray D'Arcy Show airs on Saturday, February 2 at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.
