The hotel will be closed until February 8 to facilitate bringing the hotel to “a state of modern elegance and luxury”, according to a Tower Hotel spokesperson.
“We are excited about our new facilities and we are sure that it will make your future stays with us even more enjoyable. In the meantime, we sincerely appreciate your understanding while we make these great enhancements to the Tower Hotel.”
The new look four star Tower Hotel and Leisure Centre will include a new bar and bar extension towards the River Suir. Guests will be able to admire fantastic views of the river from the fully glazed bar exterior which will wrap around the front of the hotel. The hotel is also incorporating a new restaurant, while new rooms will be added above this extension.
A new state-of-the-art kitchen will service the new Hobson's Restaurant and Pier 37 Bar and Grill. It is envisaged that all of the above renovation works will take approximately six months to complete.
Renovations will also take place in early 2020. A new conference wing and further accommodation will be then added, further enhancing the hotel’s facilities. Existing bedrooms are also undergoing a makeover.
