Waterford hurlers lend support to school's campaign for student with cancer

The Waterford Senior hurlers have shown their support to St. Colman's Secondary School in Fermoy who are supporting one of their fellow students with a tilt at Christmas No. 1.

A host of sports stars, including Peter O'Mahony, have already shown support by being pictured with the #ColmansStandTogether banner with the Waterford panel the latest to lend their name to the campaign.

St. Colman's have made headlines this week with their cover version of Lean On Me, their attempt at a Christmas No. 1 in aid of one of their classmates going through cancer.

The single will support a number of charities, including Ronald McDonald House, BUMBLEance, Crumlin Children's Hospital and Families Affected by Childhood Cancers.
