Waterford driver caught travelling almost double speed limit appears in court
A Waterford driver has been slapped with five penalty points after being clocked driving almost double the speed limit in the county in recent months.
The driver was stopped by gardaí after being detected driving at 182km/h in a 100km/h speed zone.
They were in court recently where they were hit with five penalty points and a €600 fine.
Gardaí have continued to urge drivers to slow down, warning that 'speed kills' in their latest Twitter post.
