Two teenage girls assaulted in Waterford

Gardai are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in a shopping centre in Waterford on Saturday, November 17.

The alleged incident occurred at the City Square Shopping Centre in Waterford at 8pm on Saturday evening, gardaí told Waterford Live.

Two girls, aged 14 and 17, reported that a number of females approached them and verbally abused them.

It is also alleged that the two girls were struck by the other group during the incident.

No arrests have been made but gardaí are continuing their investigations.
