More than a dozen cars damaged in overnight Waterford crime spree

Gardai in Waterford are investigating after over a dozen cars were damaged in an overnight crime spree.

Gardaí confirmed to Waterford Live on Tuesday morning that a number of cars were damaged overnight in the Mary Street area of Waterford.

It's understood that the cars involved had their wing mirrors kicked off.

Gardaí confirmed to Waterford Live that investigations are ongoing. It's understood a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, on O'Connell Street, a number of flower boxes were damaged on O'Connell Street. It is unclear if the incidents are connected.

Gardaí are investigating.
