Waterford hit with Status Yellow rainfall warning with a risk of 'spot flooding'

Status Yellow for Waterford until 9pm tonight

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for Waterford this Thursday morning, September 20.

Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork and Tipperary are also included in the warning as the South of the country braces for a heavy spell of rain.

Rain will be persistent and heavy at times especially during the afternoon with risk of spot flooding.

Totals of 25 to 40mm expected, highest values likely near coast, Met Éireann warned.

The warning is valid from Thursday, September 20 at 9am until 9pm Thursday night.
