Waterford City & County Council has moved to warn motorists of upcoming road works that will lead to traffic disruption in the city.

In order to facilitate surveying work at Rice Bridge and the South Quays, temporary traffic management will be in place to the east and west of the Rice Bridge roundabout as well as to the east of the Clock Tower on the South Quays.

The measures will be in place for one week commencing Tuesday August 7 from 8pm to 6am each day.

Motorists are advised to avoid this area or use alternative routes if possible.

Waterford City & County Council have thanked people for their patience while this work is being carried out.
