Three routes have been announced for Waterford as part of the new rural transport initiative

Waterford looks set to get three routes under a new rural transport initiative due to be announced by Minister for Transport Shane Ross.  

The three routes served under the plan would be Tallow to Dungarvan, Ardmore to Dungarvan and the rural environs of Ballyduff. 

Under the plan, it is expected that 50 new routes will be confirmed  across 19 counties with Co Wexford and Co Kerry top the list of 19 counties set to benefit from the initiative. The plan will cost €450,000 for six months
