Planning permission for wind turbines to be put in a rural Waterford village has been sought by Moanbrack Energy Limited.
The development will consist of two wind turbines with a tip height of 120m, should permission be granted.
They will have a rotor diameter of 82m and a hub height of 79m.
The wind turbines would be located at Moanbrack and Rathnameneenagh, Ring, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
Three landowners have given consent for their land to be used as part of the development.

The applicant is seeking a ten-year permission and a 35-year operational period, beginning from the date of the overall commissioning of the wind farm.
Moanbrack Energy Ltd is also seeking permission to upgrade the existing tracks and construct new, permanent access tracks.
It also wants to install permanent turbine hardstand areas, turbine foundations, a site drainage network, a 20kV substation, and internal cabling connecting the wind turbines to the electrical substation.
The substation would be connected to the existing one at Ballycurreen.
The turbines and associated works will be located less than 2km from Dungarvan Harbour and just over 1km from Helvick Head.
Waterford City and County Council have until May 20th to make its decision.
Submissions against this development can be made until April 29th.
