Ballygunner were crowned as the Al-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Champions last night after beating Galway's Loughrea 1-20 to 1-14 at Croke Park.
The Waterford champions led the way for the majority of the match.
In the 26th minute, a goal was scored by Loughrea's Darren Shaughnessy, allowing them to take the lead for the first time.
However, Ballygunner immediately responded, leaving the half-time score at 0-12 to 1-08.
Injury time saw Loughrea add a point to their score, but it wasn't enough to claim the title as champions.
When the final whistle blew, Ballygunner became All-Ireland champions for the second time, but the first since 2022.
They were warmly welcomed back to the Déise, with a homecoming taking place at St. Mary's Church Car Park last night.
People of all ages threw on their black and red colours to show the team their support.
