Predict your 4km run time and win €30 in Waterford every Monday
A 'Predict Your Time' League will take place in Waterford offering runners the chance to win €30 to guess how long it takes them to run 4km.
It will get underway at 7pm every Monday, starting this coming one, at Kirwan Park Track, Touraneena.
It works by people predicting how long it will take them to run the route and then starting with that much time remaining on the clock.
For example, if you think it will take you 45 minutes, you start at 7.
If you think it will take you 30 minutes, you will start running at 7:15.

The cash prize of €30 will go to the person who runs the route in the time closest to what they predicted.
There will also be another €30 on offer as part of a draw for the other participants on the night.
This Monday's prizes are sponsored by Regina Carroll of Tír na nÓg Playschool and Sandra and Trevor Power, Early Bird Eggs, according to the Waterford News and Star.
The Predict Your Time League will run up until the Winter League in Dungarvan.
People walking the route are also welcome to take part and high-vis jackets are essential.
To take part, you must pay €2 on the night.
