Gardaí are investigating a late-night assault that took place in Waterford over the weekend.
The incident occurred at around 1.20am on Saturday morning, August 3, when a man was attacked while collecting food from a takeaway on O'Connell Street in Dungarvan.
An appeal has been launched for anyone who may have witnessed the assault or who was in the area at the time to come forward.
Motorists who were in the area and may have dashcam footage are also being urged to make contact with Gardaí.
"If you were in the area or have dashcam footage please contact Dungarvan Garda Station," a spokesperson said.
