Munster Technological University (MTU) is proud to celebrate the completion of the first year of its Cyber Innovate postgraduate diploma programme.

The programme is developed to further strengthen Ireland’s position in cybersecurity innovation. A showcase event was held at MTU’s Bishopstown campus to mark this milestone and to celebrate the achievements of the first group of students.

In its first year, twelve students enrolled and completed the programme which equips experienced professionals with the entrepreneurial and technical skills required to identify and solve cybersecurity challenges, as well as transform those solutions into start-up companies.

Cyber Innovate is supported under the Innovators’ Initiative Programme co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the Southern, Eastern & Midland Regional Programme 2021-2027.
