The beloved Teddy Bear Hospital is making its much-anticipated return on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Hosted by Juniors for Juniors, this unique event in Waterford invites children and their families to experience a day of fun, learning, and connection, while easing anxieties around medical environments in a playful and supportive atmosphere.
The Teddy Bear Hospital provides children with the opportunity to bring their favourite teddy bears or stuffed animals or toy for a "check-up." Guided by medical professionals who are all volunteers for the event, it offers interactive stations where children can learn about health, wellness, and basic medical care in a hands-on, engaging way.
From bandaging “boo-boos” to listening to heartbeats, young attendees can explore the world of healthcare through the lens of their furry friends.
