PICTURES: Waterford library welcomes award-winning author for book-signing event

Waterford Libraries welcomed award winning author Elaine Feeney to Ardkeen Library on Saturday, May 11.

Ms Feeney did a book signing at the event of her second novel, How to Build a Boat. There was a great turn-out on the day, where Feeney fans and book fans a like came together to meet the author. 

Elaine Feeney writes poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. She has published three poetry collections including The Radio was Gospel and Rise. She is from Athenry, Galway.

Her debut novel As You Were won Dalkey Book Festival’s Emerging Writer Prize, The Kate O’ Brien Prize, Society of Authors’ McKitterick Prize and was shortlisted for Novel of the Year at the Irish Book Awards.
