An iconic restaurant and legendary meeting place in the Apple Market, Gino's has been put up for sale.
The popular meeting place was the venue where many first dates took place and was renowned for its pizzas, ice cream and signature 'death by chocolate' dessert.
It even featured a singing Carrie Crowley as she made pizza, one customer fondly remembers.
Gino's on 62 John Street, Waterford, is offered as a commercial sale for €310,000.
The premises is 139 m² in size and offers seating for 65 people, with a possibility of more, according to the listing on Daft.ie
Many people expressed their sadness at the restaurant being placed on the market, with one describing the restaurant as being in a "league of its own".
Proprietors Sean and Bernie were wished success with whatever their next venture is.
