Waterford scouts seek planning permission for construction of new community centre

A Waterford scout group is seeking planning permission for the construction of a new community scouts centre.

The 31st Waterford Faithlegg Scout Group submitted an application to Waterford City and County Council this week (December 21) for the new venture at Cheekpoint, Waterford.

The application seeks permission for the new scouts centre to include a communal hall, toilets, meeting room, kitchen, external terrace, storage units, camping facilities, new vehicular entrance, carparking and all associated drainage, site works, landscaping and associated works.

A decision will be made in February 2024.
