Take the plunge in Tramore for Focus Ireland

Focus Ireland is proud to announce "Take The Plunge for Focus Ireland," an exhilarating event set to take place on Saturday, November 25th, 2023, at stunning shores across Ireland.

Join us in our mission to tackle homelessness and support vulnerable individuals and families in need.

Participants are invited to embrace the cold seas at various picturesque locations, including Tramore Beach, Co. Waterford.

The final plunge will occur on Saturday, December 2nd, in partnership with Limerick Camogie at Ringmoylan Pier, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick. If these locations aren't convenient, you can still join the cause by taking the plunge at your local beach and making a donation.

Take the plunge in a way that suits you best – whether it's a quick dip or a brave swim into the waves, we encourage you to embrace this challenge.

By signing up today, you'll not only be stepping out of your comfort zone but also raising vital funds to support Focus Ireland's services nationwide.

Cully & Sully are generously supporting this event. They will provide well-deserved hot soup for all participants on the day and swim hats for the first 50 registrations in each area.

Lorraine Toner, Head of National Community Fundraising at Focus Ireland, expresses her enthusiasm for the event, stating,

"Shockingly, there are currently 12,827individuals, including 3,904 children, experiencing homelessness across Ireland. We are resolutely committed to ending this crisis, and we invite you to join us in our efforts.”
