Temporary road closures announced for Waterford Spraoi Festival

TRAFFIC: Emergency closure of Roscrea road from Monday

Road closures have been confirmed for the upcoming Waterford Spraoi Festival in early August. 

Waterford City and County Council has confirmed that it will close the following public road to through traffic during the times specified below on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 4th to 7th August, 2023 to facilitate the Waterford Spraoi Festival.

Roads to be closed:

From 8am on Friday August 4 to 1am on August 7: O'Connell Street, from junction of Hanover Street to Gladstone Street; Gladstone Street; The Mall. 

Saturday August 5: Henrietta Street - 12 noon to 6pm.

Sunday August 6: Johnstown - 8.30pm to 10.00pm; Parnell Street - 8.30pm to 10.30pm; Parade Quay - 9pm - 11.30pm; Custom House Quay - 9pm to 11.30 pm.
