Waterford City and County Council is seeking input on a proposal for major developments at the Promenade in Tramore.
The Council is seeking submissions on the proposed development at the Promenade Public Toilets, which - if granted - will include an extension and alteration to existing toilet facilities as well as a Water Activity Centre providing changing facilities, showers and beach wheelchair storage.
Other works will include the provision of a plant room utilising sustainable technologies and adjustment of public footpath to incorporate proposals.
Details of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase at Waterford City & County Council, Customer Care Desk, Baileys New Street, Waterford between the hours of 9.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday between July 3 and July 28 inclusive (excluding bank and public holidays).
The proposed development has undergone an assessment screening and an Environmental Impact Assessment.
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development shall be made in writing to the Director of Economic Development at Waterford City and County Council, No. 35 The Mall, Waterford to be received on or before 4pm on August 14, 2023 and should be clearly marked 'Tramore Water Activity Centre' or by email to projectsteam@waterfordcouncil.ie.
All comments, including names of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this scheme will form part of a statutorily required report presented at a meeting of the elected members.
