Gardaí at Waterford are investigating a report of sexual assault which occurred in the Poleberry area of Waterford City on the 30th March .
A garda spokesperson said: "We are appealing for a group of people who were in the Tesco Carpark or close to it on the 30.03.23 between 2-3 am to make contact with the DPSU in Waterford Garda Station.
"This was a Wednesday night into Thursday morning. You may have seen something that will assist the investigation," the spokesperson said.
