Met Éireann predicts that it will be mainly dry too but a few isolated showers are possible in the southwest.
Nationally, highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees are expected in mostly moderate easterly winds, fresh at times near the east and south coast.
Highest temperatures in Waterford could reach 14 degrees from 2pm to 6pm, with a chance of showers around 6pm, also.
There'll be a few showers tonight affecting southern and southwestern counties, it will stay dry elsewhere as skies clear. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees in mostly moderate easterly winds, fresh at times.
It is expected to be dry and sunny tomorrow, Thursday. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees are expected, as moderate to fresh easterly winds ease later.
