Waterford gardaí investigating criminal damage and thefts from car and vans

Garda investigations are underway after break-ins to a car and two vans in Waterford in the past week. 

Waterford Gardaí are appealing for information following a break in to a car parked on roadside at Summerhill Terrace, Waterford between 6pm on Tuesday and 9.30am on Wednesday.

The passenger side window of the red Renault Megane was smashed and a number of items taken from inside. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact Waterford Garda Station.

Gardai in Waterford are investigating after a Ford Transit van was broken into at College Close, Ballytruckle Green, between midnight and 6am on Thursday 23rd. The van contained two bags of power tools. All the tools are Makita – palm sander, impact drill, cordless plane, a multi tool and a jigsaw among others. 

A second van was entered over the same time period while it was parked on driveway at a house in St Ursula’s Terrace. A gym bag was taken from the black Volkswagen Caddy. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station.
