Waterford's Gary Hurley off to promising start in Japan

Gary Hurley shot a solid opening round of three-under-par at the ISPS Handa Championship which is being held in Japan.

The West Waterford golfer, who carded four birdies and one bogey during his first 18 holes, is four shots off the current leaders Andy Sullivan and Yeongsu Kim.

The ISPS Handa Championship continues tomorrow morning on Sky Sports Golf from 6am.
