Murray's selection at midfield marks a huge moment for the Déise, securing the county's first All-Star since Rebecca Hallahan in 2007, and placing the Waterford captain alongside the sport's biggest names after a standout season.

There was huge applause as Hannah Tyrrell (Dublin) was crowned TG4 Senior Players' Player of the Year after a remarkable season that saw her finish as top scorer before retiring from inter-county football. Tyrone's Sorcha Gormley claimed the Intermediate honour, while Louth's Kate Flood collected the Junior award for the second time.

Cork legend Juliet Murphy was also inducted into the LGFA Hall of Fame for her extraordinary contribution to the game.
