Waterford football is celebrating this week after three county players were named among the nominees for the 2025 TG4 Ladies Football All-Star Awards.

Captain Emma Murray has been recognised for her commanding displays in midfield, while forwards Bríd McMaugh and Lauren McGregor both earned nominations after impressing in attack throughout the summer.
Their performances helped Waterford reach the latter stages of the championship, exiting at the All-Ireland quarter-final, and caught the eye of the selection panel.
The awards gala takes place at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin on Saturday, November 15, where the final All-Star team will be unveiled, alongside the Players' Player of the Year winners and the latest LGFA Hall of Fame inductee.
