Munster GAA reveal draw for Waterford clubs who qualify for provincial championships

The draws for the 2025 AIB Munster Club Hurling and Football Championships took place last week and there's plenty for Waterford supporters to take note of.

In the Senior Hurling Championship, the Waterford representatives will travel to face the Limerick champions in the quarter-final, with Cork’s champions waiting in the semi-final.

On the other side of the draw, thanks to Tipperary’s senior hurlers reaching the All-Ireland Final, their county champions in hurling will go straight into the Munster semi-finals where they will meet the Clare champions.

In Senior Football, the Waterford champions will travel to play the Clare champions in the quarter-final. Should they progress, they'll meet the winners of of the other quarter-final between the Tipperary and Cork champions. On the opposite side of the draw, Kerry will host Limerick in the other semi-final.

The Munster Club Championships begin on the weekend of November 1st and 2nd. All three Munster Club Hurling Finals are scheduled for the last weekend of November, while the three football finals will take place on the first weekend of December. All ties will be played to a finish on the day.

MUNSTER CLUB HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP (SENIOR)


Quarter-Final:

  • Limerick champions vs Waterford champions – Weekend of Nov 2 – Limerick venue

Semi-Finals:

  • Clare champions vs Tipperary champions – Weekend of Nov 16 – Clare venue

  • Cork champions vs Winner of Limerick/Waterford – Weekend of Nov 16 – Limerick or Waterford venue

Final:

  • Winner of Clare/Tipperary vs Winner of Cork/Limerick/Waterford – Weekend of Nov 30 – Venue TBC

MUNSTER CLUB FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP (SENIOR)

Quarter-Finals:

  • Tipperary champions vs Cork champions – Weekend of Nov 9 – Tipperary venue

  • Clare champions vs Waterford champions – Weekend of Nov 9 – Clare venue

Semi-Finals:

  • Kerry champions vs Limerick champions – Weekend of Nov 23 – Kerry venue

  • Winner of Tipp/Cork vs Winner of Clare/Waterford – Weekend of Nov 23 – Venue TBC

Final:

  • Winner of Semi-Final 1 vs Winner of Semi-Final 2 – Weekend of Dec 7 – Venue TBC
