Waterford punter defies odds of 1,296/1 on Black Friday

Waterford punter defies odds of 1,296/1

A County Waterford punter was left spinning after their roulette double saw them walk away from their local BoyleSports with a fantastic €5,184 windfall.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed €4 on their two lucky numbers 7 and 14 to be landed on during the 9.21pm spin and 9.24pm last Friday evening.

With the first spin seeing the ball land on 7, the first part of the punter’s double clicked with ease and they had no time to wait to see if they hit their jackpot. The next spin backed just three minutes later and saw the ball land on 14, completing the double.

Defying odds of 1,296/1, both numbers were revealed which saw the Waterford punter revel in €5,184 winnings.

“Our heads were left spinning when we saw our Waterford customer who turned €4 into an amazing €5,184 after they took on the odds of 1,296/1 and smashed them with thanks to their lucky numbers and some plucky betting. We want to offer our sincerest congratulations to them and hope this windfall will ease some of the festive spending strain," said spokesperson for BoyleSports Aoife Heffron.
