'A true gentleman' - Tributes pour in for father of 2 being laid to rest today

Late of Waterford Crystal, Billy is predeceased by his parents Bridie and Eddie, his aunt Mamie.

William (Billy) Carr from Sion Terrace, Waterford, will be laid to rest today, Tuesday February 6.

Requiem Mass will be held in St. John’s Church, Parnell Street, Waterford at 12.30 pm followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery. 

Billy, formerly of Bedfont, England and Campile, Co Wexford passed away on Friday, February 2.

Late of Waterford Crystal, he is predeceased by his parents Bridie and Eddie, his aunt Mamie.

Billy will be deeply missed by his loving wife Dinah, daughters Laura and Eleanor, sons-in-law Mick and Eoin, grandchildren Edwin and Eloise, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace 

The family would like to thank all the staff and carers in SignaCare, Ferrybank for their wonderful kindness, compassion and care showed to Billy.

"Sincere condolences to Dinah and extended family on the passing of Billy. He was a lovely neighbour and a true gentleman.

"Sorry to hear of Billys passing ,Remember him well from Waterford crystal during our time there. Condolences to Dinah and all his family may he rest in peace now."
