Planning applications and decisions in Co Waterford

Waterford City and County Council granted a number of planning applications

Waterford City and County Council has granted planning permission for the construction of six single story holiday homes at Kilgrovan, Clonea Strand, Dungarvan.  The application was given the go-ahead on June 28 to Clonea Homes Ltd.

Planning permission has also been granted to MBCC Foods (Ireland) Ltd to develop a standalone café/restaurant unit with outdoor seating at the centre of the car park at Waterford Retail Park (formerly known as Butlerstown Retail Park) on Cork Road, Waterford.

Meanwhile Pauline & Chun Loi Fan were granted permission to change the use of a restaurant to bar on the ground floor of Jade Palace, The Mall, Waterford.

Planning applications submitted

A number of planning applications have been submitted by local businesses to Waterford City and County Council in recent weeks.

Domain Catering Ltd applied for planning permission for a change of use from restaurant dining areas and exhibition space to four residential units on the first and second floor at 19 The Mall Waterford.  This is a protected structure. The application was submitted to the council on June 28.

Minnies on Strandside North, Dungarvan applied for a Section 254 licence to allow them to place two tables and outdoor seating outside their premises.  Nagles Bar, 7&8 Grattan Square, Dungarvan applied for a 254 licence to locate three chairs, rails and planting outside their premises. Waterford Greenway Bike Hire applied for a section 254 licence for a self standing plastic sign at Hanover Street in Waterford.
