Three Irish celebrities are among the many stars who feature in Taylor Swift's latest music video for her song 'Opalite.'

Actors Domhnall Gleeson and Cillian Murphy, along with TV Presenter Graham Norton, are among the many well-known faces to play a part in the video.

The almost six-minute-long video, which was directed by the singer-songwriter, was released on Apple Music and Spotify earlier today, after weeks of anticipation.

Gleeson and Swift play love interests called "lonely man" and "lonely woman."

Rumours of the actor's participation in the video began to swirl when promotional billboards for the track appeared on social media just hours before it was released.

Fans started to re-circulate a clip of Gleeson saying that he was " hoping to get into a Taylor Swift music video" while on the Graham Norton Show with Cillian Murphy.

Norton appears in the music video as a salesman, with Murphy appearing on billboards and advertisements, and providing a voiceover.

A clip from the three's conversation on the show is also included at the end of the video.

Opalite is the second single from the record-breaking album The Life Of A Showgirl, which came out on October 3rd.

Swift says it was written about her fianceé, Travis Kelce, whose birthstone is an opal.
