Irish comedy legend Dara Ó Briain to make Electric Picnic debut as Comedy Tent lineup revealed

Electric Picnic's famous Comedy Tent has unveiled its 2025 lineup, with Dara Ó Briain confirmed for his first-ever appearance at the Stradbally festival.

The Mock the Week star, one of the biggest names in Irish comedy, will take to the stage on Saturday afternoon, August 30, marking his long-awaited debut at EP.

He'll be joined by viral sketch troupe Foil Arms and Hog, whose online videos have clocked up more than 500 million views worldwide. The trio's only Irish festival show this year will be in Stradbally, promising the mix of fast-paced sketches and chaos that has made them a global hit.

Also announced is Jarlath Regan, who has been described as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit right now, along with Cork storyteller Chris Kent, Belfast's Shane Todd, and New York-based Katy Boyle.

Keeping order across the weekend will be host Karl Spain, who returns as MC. The Comedy Tent opens at 1.30pm on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31.

Electric Picnic takes place in Stradbally, Co Laois, from August 29th–31st.
