Commenting following the launch, Sinéad Dunphy, director of Imagine Arts Festival 2024, said she is looking forward to the event.

"Our 2024 programme highlights partnerships and collaborations, as seen in the cross-pollination of genres throughout many of our performances. We're especially proud of the residencies taking place this year, which underscore our commitment to supporting artists."

The IMC Navigator Residency will feature the exceptional composer and guitarist Dave Flynn, who will merge musical innovation with visual artistry in an improvisation showcase inspired by the current collection at the Waterford Gallery of Art.

"We are also delighted to present the commission of Shane Barry and his unique audio-visual exploration of contemporary Waterford, as part of our focus on developing new artistic works," said Ms Dunphy.
