A video of Gardaí playing tennis with Taylor Swift fans on a road outside the Aviva Stadium has gone viral.

Irish TikTok user, Sarah O'Tuama, posted a video of the heartwarming scene yesterday (Monday July 1) following the conclusion of the US superstar's Dublin concerts.

The clip - which is just 10 seconds long - has racked up over 400,000 hits, 40,000 likes, and hundreds of comments.

Delighted viewers left comments under the video, with people describing the exchange as "heartwarming" and "so wholesome".

One TikTok user praised the Gardaí and commented, "The Gardaí were the absolute best craic, everyone of them made time for people and were so helpful on the day, they don’t get enough credit. Well done An Garda Síochána."

Another wrote, "Community policing at its best on show in Dublin this weekend. Massive PR coup for Gardaí with international visitors so impressed with them. Fair play to them."

An Garda Síochána reposted the video to their official Facebook page with the following caption: "Warming up for Wimbledon, Taylor Swift fans and Gardaí got in some tennis practice near the Aviva Stadium at the weekend.

"We tried our best not to create a racket but we just couldn’t compete with the Queen of Pop Taylor Swift during her record-breaking concerts in Dublin.

"And the final score? Love-all of course and we’ve got the friendship bracelets to prove it."
