GALLERY: Meet the stars of new Irish reality TV show on multi-faith marriages

A new reality show following multi-faith and multicultural engaged couples across Ireland is due to air this week.

Brand new series 'A Ring and a Prayer' explores what happens when two people from different cultures or faith traditions decide to tie the knot.

It follows couples in the lead-up to their weddings, where they reveal their insights on the challenges and rewards of "mixed" relationships.

Amongst the couples we meet are Paul, a Catholic originally from Nigeria, and Anastasia, a Dubliner with Romanian Orthodox roots, as well as Cassandra from South Africa and Sam from Limerick, Shanti from Nepal and Alex from Meath, and Emma from the Philippines and Gavin from Dublin.

The six-part series airs on Friday October 27 at 8.00pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
