Proud Waterford student among thousands to take centre stage at MTU graduation ceremony

A Waterford student is celebrating a major milestone after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Musical Theatre Studies from Munster Technological University (MTU).

Dirin Brett from Tramore was among the students taking part in MTU's Autumn 2025 Conferring Ceremony, held at the MTU Cork School of Music on Wednesday, October 23.

She joined classmates Jacinta Hegarty, from Portugal and now living in Ballincollig, and Jessica Hayes, from Clontarf, as they proudly received their degrees in front of their family and friends.

More than 3,880 students across a wide range of disciplines are graduating from MTU campuses in Cork and Kerry this autumn, marking years of dedication and hard work for the university's newest graduates.

The ceremonies recognise students from courses in business, engineering, creative arts, science and education, with MTU commending the Class of 2025 for their resilience, creativity and commitment throughout their studies.
