Waterford gardaí appeal after car and house windows smashed in weekend vandalism spree

Gardaí are investigating two separate incidents of criminal damage reported in Waterford over the weekend.

In the first incident, a window on a silver Toyota Yaris was damaged overnight between 8pm on Friday, October 3, and 4pm on Saturday, October 4, in the Bracken Grove area off the Old Tramore Road.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone in the area with video doorbell or CCTV footage to come forward.

The second incident occurred in Ashley Court around 6.30pm on Sunday, October 5, when the window of a house was smashed.

CCTV has been obtained as part of the investigation, gardaí confirmed.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
