Waterford motorists are being warned to expect delays on a busy County Waterford road this week as essential works take place at the N72 Military Road – Loughanunna Junction in Dungarvan.
Waterford City and County Council has confirmed a stop/go traffic control system will be in operation from Tuesday, August 12, until Thursday, August 14, 2025.
The measures are being put in place to facilitate roadworks in the area and drivers are urged to slow down and proceed with caution.

The busy junction is a key link for traffic in and out of the town, meaning disruption is likely during the works period.
A council spokesperson advised: "Please slow down and proceed with caution while travelling through the works area."
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time, particularly during morning and evening peak hours.
