ALERT: Delays expected as roadworks get underway in busy Waterford city location

Delays are expected after roadworks got underway in a busy location in Waterford city.

Roadworks are being undertaken outside Sanofi on the Old Kilmeaden Road in the city.

This is to facilitate the construction of a pedestrian crossing at the location.

A stop-go system is in place in the area and is expected to remain in place for the duration of the works.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternative routes where possible.

Waterford City and County Council has thanked the public for their patience and co-operation while the works are being carried out.
