Waterford's 'Summer in the City' set for epic ArdBeat finale
This Saturday, August 18, sees an all-day dub reggae session with World Bass Culture to celebrate the last ArtBeat of the year on Bailey's New Street.
2018 has been another boom year for ArtBeat and The Churchyard Sessions – brought to you as part of Summer in The City by Central Arts and funded by Waterford City and County Council.
"With perfect weather, record-breaking crowds every week and some amazing acts performing including Daithí, Paddy Casey, Duke Special, Ships and Jerry Fish to name but a few, it has been extraordinary.
As always, ArtBeat will finish with a bang, and that bang is provided by World Bass Culture, a collective of MCs, DJs, producers and artists formed in Cork City that produces and plays quality dub, steppas, jungle, dubstep, drum and bass and other forms of good bass music.
These guys always bring the boom and it’s always a party when World Bass Culture is around.
The ArtBeat big finale takes place this Saturday, August 18 from 5pm till late and as always, it’s all for free!
