Uninsured driver fined along with passengers who were not wearing seat belts
Gardaí also seized the Wicklow driver's car
Passengers of a Wicklow driver's car have all been fined and the car has been seized following a checkpoint carried out by Gardaí yesterday afternoon.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána, shared an image of the vehicle to X (formerly Twitter) saying: "While conducting a checkpoint near Roundwood Co Wicklow this afternoon, we stopped this car."
Gardaí confirmed: "The driver had no insurance. But what's more, none of the three rear seat passengers were wearing seatbelts. All five occupants have been fined, and the car seized."
