Two arrested after cannabis seizures in Co Galway
Gardai said investigations are continuing after searches on Saturday.
Illegal drugs worth 233,000 euro have been seized after searches in Co Galway.
On Saturday, gardaí conducted a search under warrant of a residence in Roscam and cannabis herb with an approximate value of 122,000 euro was discovered.
During a follow-up search under warrant of a residence in Castlepark, a further 111,000 euro of cannabis herb was seized.
Two men, one in his 40s and one in his 50s, were arrested.
The seized substances will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
