Tributes have been pouring in for the 10-year-old boy who was injured in a Clare collision over the weekend.

Dylan Coady-Coleman was seriously injured in a collision in Purcell Park in Shannon, on February 25.

He received medical treatment at the scene before being airlifted to University Hospital Limerick by the HSE’s Cork-based Emergency Aeromedical Service air ambulance.

After the incident, he was transferred to Children's Health Ireland at Temple Street.

Shannon Town Utd AFC said Dylan was "a joy to be around and always had a great big smile.”

The youngster has been a part of the club since he was 4 and is a member of the U11 team.

A man in his 20s who was arrested in connection with the incident has since been released pending further investigations," confirmed a garda spokesperson in an update, issued on Monday evening.
