The Good Thief
The Good Thief runs at Theatre Royal in Waterford city on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July. Performed by Waterford’s Michael Power and directed by Liam Butler, a gangster’s life takes a transformative turn on a fateful night in Dublin when a botched job jolts him into a spiral of remorse, renewed conscience and profound regret.
Power returns to the stage to star in Conor McPherson’s award-winning one man show about violence and guilt. Tickets are available online.

Thin Az Lizzy play a free gig at the Apple Market on Friday 13th July from 8pm.
Modwordsfest - a free festival comprising of a collection of Waterford’s finest writers, short plays, films, an audience on stage and much more - takes place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July at Theatre Royal. See more information online.
Waterford Motorcycle Fest
Waterford Motorcycle Fest takes place on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July in Waterford city centre. The free events, hosted by Freewheelers MC Ireland and Waterford Harley Davidson, will include a Custom Bike Show all day Saturday with lots of live music, trade stands and entertainment. The annual Boobs and Ball Charity Run in aid of the SOLAS Centre for Cancer Care takes place on Saturday and the entire weekend will be wrapped up with the grand finale concert at The Barn.
Freddie White Live
Experience the great sound of Freddie White in the intimate setting of Garter Lane Arts Centre for one performance only on Saturday 14th July at 8pm.
He has long been synonymous with music of the highest quality. Whether interpreting songs by his favourite writers or performing his own classy compositions, White’s live performances are nothing short of legendary.
He has been part of the fabric of the live music scene in Ireland since the 1970s and his albums continue to sell well amongst his loyal and new-found fan base.

Summer in the City ArtBeat
Free family fun continues at Bailey's New Street's ArtBeat and John Roberts Square in Waterford city this weekend. The Boobs and Ball charity show takes place on John Roberts Square on Saturday, with music by the Unusual Suspects at 3pm. Beef Supreme with the support of Shane Barry will play ArtBeat at 4:30pm. This will be followed by Churchyard Sessions with Paddy Casey at 8pm.
