Waterford senior hurling manager set to be appointed at County Board meeting

Waterford County Board look set to appoint Paraic Fanning as the new senior hurling manager. 

The Mount Sion man has worked as a selector under Davy Fitzgerald at Wexford and Waterford.

Delegates from Waterford clubs will be asked to ratify Fanning as manager at next Monday's County Board meeting in Dungarvan. 

Fanning coached the Laois senior hurlers when Seamus 'Cheddar' Plunkett was in charge and also managed Waterford Institute of Technology's Fitzgibbon Cup team.
