Waterford Viking Marathon
The Waterford Viking Marathon has been striding from strength to strength since it started seven years ago. The three events - full, half and quarter marathons - start in Waterford city centre, taking in the stunning Waterford Greenway, Mount Congreve and finishing at a family fun event at the WIT Arena. Hundreds of volunteers line the route every year, providing over 30,000 bottles of water for participants who travel from across the world for the marathon.

There is a gym war going on in Waterford at present, with 12 months membership starting at €135. Push and pull your way through Waterford’s gyms and get those extra reps in before your summer holiday.
Waterford Greenway
Families can enjoy a walk or cycle on the Waterford Greenway, stopping off on route for an ice-cream and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Bikes can be hired at three locations along the route, which allows for free access to a shuttle bus service.
Dunmore Adventure
Awesome fun for all ages is guaranteed at Dunmore Adventure. The family friendly certified adventure centre has been operating with 25 years and is renowned for its Wibit Wipeout Aquapark. Other activities include kayaking, climbing, archery, sailing, caving and windsurfing.
